The Lady Luck table games are generally open during peak hours. There are five blackjack tables, and one is double-deck. The other four are six-deck tables. Mid-shoe entry is not allowed at the double-deck table. Otherwise, the rules are the same. Players may double down before and after splitting on two cards. Aces may be re-split up to four hands. Blackjack pays 3:2, and the dealer hits soft 17. The bet limits were $15 to $5,000 at both games during our visit.
There is $15 double-zero roulette. Craps was $10 with ten times odds. The field pays double on 12. A video craps machine offers a $10 minimum. It is between the table-game pit and the bar.
Most of the video poker at Lady Luck in Black Hawk is on the second floor. Our top choice here is 9/6 Bonus Poker Deluxe; it is available at $1 and $5 denominations in that area. The same machines also have $1 and $5 9/6 Jacks or Better, 8/5 Bonus Poker, 9/7/5 Double Bonus, and 9/6 Double Double Bonus.
The bars have quarter, half-dollar and dollar games. The 7/5 Bonus Poker is our top choice there.
There are many video-poker variants. They include Double Down Stud, Spin Poker, Super Times Pay, Triple Play, and Ultimate X.
The only dining option at Lady Luck is located within age-restricted areas. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to dine. TaCo Cantina specializes in tacos and margaritas.
