Sky Ute Casino is on the Southern Ute Reservation. It is in southwestern Colorado near the New Mexico state line. There are four restaurants, an RV park, a bowling alley, a mini-golf course, and 140 hotel rooms at Sky Ute Casino. The casino offers about 600 slot and video poker machines and eight table games. The bingo room is currently closed.

Its sports-betting partner, US Bookmaking, is live with mobile betting. Sky Ute SportsBook offers an app where Colorado bettors may create accounts, transfer funds, and make wagers directly on their phones.

Sky Ute Casino

There are five blackjack tables at Sky Ute. Players may double down before and after splitting. Blackjack pays 3:2, and the dealer stands on all 17’s. Craps, roulette, and Three Card Poker are also dealt.

Blackjack, roulette, and Three Card Poker open at 2pm Thursday through Sunday. The tables remain open until midnight Sunday and Thursday and until 2am the other nights. Craps is temporarily closed.

There is a wide variety of new slots. Denominations start at one penny and go up to $25. Video poker is also available, including 3/5/10-play, Spin Poker, Super Times Pay, and Super Triple Play. 

Sky Ute sportsbook

US Bookmaking teamed up with Sky Ute Casino to offer sports betting. It offered a mobile betting app under the Sky Ute SportsBook brand. On June 30, 2023, The Sky Ute mobile betting app closed with no notice. The group no longer offers Colorado sports betting.

Sky Ute bingo

There is a 200-seat bingo hall on the property. The bingo room is currently closed. The last session was held on March 26, 2023.

The Sky Ute players club, the Ace’s Club, has four tiers:

Dining and drinks at Sky Ute

There are three food options at Sky Ute Casino. The 49 Lounge serves drinks with sporting events airing on TVs. It opens at 1pm daily.

Seven Rivers Steaks Seafood Spirits is an upscale dining experience. The menu includes pork chops, rack of lamb, steak, bison, lobster, scallops, and fish entrees. A kid’s menu features a petite filet, white fish, chicken, and mac & cheese.

Located on the main floor, Willows Café Bistro is open for breakfast daily. The menu features egg dishes, chicken fried steak, and breakfast burritos. Lunch is available at 11am. Lunch menu items include soups, salads, and sandwiches with steak and seafood entrees.

Rolling Thunder Grill is located off the casino floor. Lunch and dinner are available in this pub atmosphere. The menu includes steak and shrimp, lasagna, meatloaf, salmon, prime rib, chili, salads, and soups.

Sky Ute hotel

Sky Ute hotel has 140 guest rooms, including eight suites with unique cultural themes. For guests looking to conduct business meetings or weddings, Sky Ute has an events center and three breakout rooms.

Resort amenities

Hotel amenities include a fitness center, indoor pool, sun deck, and lazy river. Rolling Thunder Lanes is a 24-lane bowling alley with a video-game arcade. It is open Sunday from 11am until 9pm, Wednesday from 11am until 4pm, and from noon until 10pm Friday and Saturday. The 18-hole mini-golf course opened on May 1. It is open daily from 11am until 8pm.

Be-La-Ve Spa provides services Tuesday through Saturday from 9am until 5pm. Discounts are available for hotel guests and VIP players card members. The gift shop is open 24 hours daily.

Hotel rooms

All rooms at Sky Ute are subject to a 3% tax and a 5% resort fee. Rooms include a TV, alarm clock, hair dryer, safe, high-speed internet access, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and a bathroom with a separate shower and tub. Balconies are available upon request based on availability.

Standard 400-square-foot rooms with either a king bed or two queen beds are available. Rooms are nonsmoking. Rooms with turn-down service, noon check-out, robes, and upgraded amenities are available on the Concierge level.

The eight themed suites are based on Southern Ute tribal members who have made a difference in the lives of the tribe. These suites have upgraded amenities that include three TVs, a sleeper sofa, double vanity, a soaker tub, and an upgraded balcony. 

RV Park

From April 1 through mid-November, 24 RV spaces are available at Sky Ute Casino for $60 per night. Three sites are ADA-accessible. These spaces include water, sewer, and 20/30/50 amp hookups. Guests staying at the RV park gain access to the pool, fitness center, showers, laundry facilities, and WiFi. Only RVs and campers that are 15 years old or newer are allowed. Pop-up tent-style campers are not allowed.
